Giving Back to the Community
At Bath Expo, our core values are integrity, excellence, and service. One way we actively express our core values is through our charitable work in the local community.
Matthew 6 Ministries
Years ago, the owners of Bath Expo and Window Expo saw a need in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area and they devoted themselves to addressing that need by starting their own non-profit organization, Matthew 6 Ministries. This organization has one goal – to end child hunger and homelessness, beginning right here in the Texas community they love.
A portion of every Bath Expo sale goes towards Matthew 6 Ministries. All proceeds generated by Matthew 6 Ministries benefit homeless children in our local communities. That means when you hire Bath Expo to remodel your bathroom, you will also be helping a less fortunate child. To find out more about Matthew 6 Ministries, visit www.matthew6ministries.org.
Bath Expo was honored to fulfill a wish for our local “Make-A-Wish” Dallas foundation. A local young lady qualified for the wish, but is unable to communicate with her family. So Make-A-Wish allowed the family to ask for a wish on her behalf. Their wish was to give their daughter an accessible bathroom so she could be properly bathed and cared for. Working with this family and the Make-A-Wish foundation to make this dream come to life was an absolute joy!
Baths for the Brave
Baths for the Brave is a partnership between ten home improvement companies from across the United States who have banned together to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for us – our veterans. The goal is to improve the lives of veterans who were left disabled from their military service or have experienced hardships in their life that prevent them from completing normal, everyday tasks such as bathing.
Bath Expo partners with Baths for the Brave each year to renovate the bathroom of a veteran in one of our service areas for the annual Bath Crash in celebration of Veterans’ Day. For more information about Baths for the Brave and to learn about this year’s veteran, visit www.bathsforthebrave.com.
